Chris, a married father in his early 30s, is not somebody that's generally into small talk. Interests include music, politics, societal discourse, religion/spirituality, gaming, hockey, and cooking. Just somebody that's earnestly in pursuit of knowing the previously unknown.
What can I expect from this blog?
This is intended to be a space where I can share about myself, my thoughts, feelings, and ideas, to allow friends and family to get a better understanding of who I am without feeling the need to "mask," or otherwise hide parts of who I am. I'm not one that likes to do things halfway, so the most immediate expectation should be for relatively unfiltered expressions of self.
Topics of posts can range from current life happenings, to my perspective on different facets of life, to whatever my current hyperfixation is, to my journey towards getting my mental health under control, to whatever interest I feel like sharing. Some of these posts might deal with sensitive subjects and will be appropriately tagged as such, however this blog shouldn't be taken as being child appropriate.
What can I expect from you?
I will share about a variety of topics that a lot of people don't normally open up about, and offer up my perspective with nothing more than an intent to be understood. I am a bit of an oddball, so anticipate some "out there" opinions, and to learn some things about me that you wouldn't otherwise.
