I hate politics and how it has consumed absolutely everything. Based on my voting record (Stein in 16, Biden in 20, and I didn't vote last year,) conservatives could label me a 'liberal terrorist' while liberals could label me an 'ignorant non-voter.' My question is what in the actual fuck has either party done to garner the sort of loyalty and willful indoctrination both sides have gotten?
Conservatives currently control not just the White House, Senate and House, they also have majority on the Supreme Court and the heads of agencies like the FBI and DHS are proud card carrying MAGA conservatives. They've willingly shut down the government to protect pedophiles, as a congressional special election was won by a Democrat who would be the last of 218 signatures needed to force the release of the Epstein documents. The same documents that Trump is not just mentioned in, but that has photographic evidence of his level of involvement.
Let me make this clear: whoever associated with and was involved with Epstein's brutal sex trafficking of children needs to be named to the general public, full stop. When it comes to the abuse of children over a span of years, political affiliation should not and does not mean a damn thing, full stop. Obama, Clinton, Bush Jr. and Sr., whoever that was involved that held a position of power and influence to stop what was happening deserve to have that shit known and to face whatever repercussions that brings. Of course, in a country where school shootings are common and normalized I guess it's difficult to expect others to hold the safety and well being of children in high regard.
The avoidance of these files being released has accelerated to the point of mobilizing troops against liberal cities. Portland wasn't rioting or burning down, they had people in inflatable animal costumes protest dancing. Chicago isn't under control of liberal terrorists, they're exerting their independent authority in their own city, but the supposed party of 'less government' wants to swing down the full weight of the military. Against it's own people, because of a difference in political ideology that has expanded far beyond small vs. big government, hence their own contradictions.
Democrats, for the most part, have just rolled over and let all of this happen. They're getting fat checks and fancy gifts from the same wealthy class that's enabling this current administration and it's treacherous maneuvering, the only 'members' actually doing anything being Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, as expected. They're all complicit in what is happening currently, which is going to be written in the history books as the biggest betrayal of the American people up to this point, and the kicking off point to what is shaping into being a class war.
If you're not in that upper tax bracket and not groveling to the powers at be, you're looking at a few possibilities. Locked up, sent to a labor camp, deported to a foreign country, or maybe left to rot in the Everglades. That's if you don't starve, lose your home or succumb to illness. 'But the shutdown is because of the Democrats monetary demands!' The Democrats are demanding that the money for healthcare subsidies continues at the rate it is so that healthcare remains affordable for your average American getting insurance through the Healthcare marketplace. This is crucial with the cuts in funding to programs like Medicaid, Medicare, SNAP EBT, and other social programs that do in fact have a direct impact on people's health, making it even more vital for people to have access to affordable healthcare. It took them almost 10 months, but they finally showed up to bat for the people, as all of these greedy elected officials make a vow to do when sworn in but somehow forget once in office.
If you're somebody that looks at blanket arrests happening in Chicago and think "well it's okay because they're not coming for me," I want you to go read up on your WW2 history and how Germany went from being a democratic nation to Nazis hellbent on world domination and race 'purification.' Like I said, if you're not in that upper tax bracket, if you are not a part of the rich and wealthy class, not only will they come for you in that sort of violent sense, they are already coming after you by ensuring your cost of living continues to skyrocket. They want to collapse what is left of the middle class into poverty so they have complete and total control of the resources of this country, and once they have that they aren't going to give a flying fuck that you voted straight red but can't afford a loaf of bread.
Welcome to accelerated late stage capitalism, where we usher back in the same sort of tyrannical monarchy this country was founded to escape from. I hope all of you that have allowed the bullshit of political ideologies to erode away your sense of humanity and empathy are happy, you're getting exactly what you wanted. As for me, I'm taking the gloves off, so if you know me personally and start talking politics with me, I'm not going to refrain from making my stance clear.
